Obituary Jerrold "Wayne" Roland, age 72, a Durant, OK resident formerly of Atoka, was born on Monday, August 28, 1939, to Eugene "Buddy" and Mary Eula (Moran) Roland, at Post Oak, OK. Wayne passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012 at Durant, OK. He graduated Atoka High School in 1957. Wayne was a Diesel Mechanic in Atoka for over 30 years. He married Sandra Lee (Turner) on June 2, 1962 at Caney, OK. Wayne was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Atoka. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, yard work, and playing dominoes with friends. Wayne is survived by his wife, Sandra Lee Roland of the home in Durant, OK.; children, Carla Cochran and husband Dale of Durant, OK., Paula Holstine and husband Paul of Stringtown, OK.; brother, Clovis Roland and wife Rita of Atoka, OK.; grandchildren, Ambri King of Moyers, OK., Baily King of Stringtown, OK., Trenton Cochran of Durant, OK., Madison Cochran of Durant, OK.; great grandchild, Brealee "Nugget" King of Moyers, OK.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn Roland of Atoka, OK., John Snider of Wichita, KS., Jean Johnson and husband Dale of Wapanucka, OK., Geraldine Crow and husband Bill of Caney, OK., Ronnie Turner and wife Barbara of Wapanucka, OK., Calvin Turner and wife Loveen of Heber Springs, AR., Wanda Alexander of Atoka, OK., Kathy Miller of Lawton, OK.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
