Jerry Don Childers, age 54, an Atoka, OK resident, formerly a longtime Antlers resident, was born on Wednesday, March 11, 1964, to Jerry Rosser and Mary Sue (Briley) Childers, at Antlers, OK. Jerry Don passed from this life on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at his home Atoka, OK. He attended the Antlers school system and graduated with the class of 1982. He attended college in Ada and Durant while working part-time at Pruett's Foods.  Jerry Don worked for J.C. Potter Company as a sales representative for 20 years then retired in July 2015 and opened his own business in Atoka for the past 3 years. Jerry Don was always spending time with his family. He liked to fish and couldn't miss an OU or Dallas Cowboy football game.
Jerry Don is survived by his sons, Jeremy Childers of Antlers, OK, Joshua Childers of Edmond, OK; grandchildren, Kamberlee Childers, Justis Childers, Jase Childers; mother,  Mary Sue Childers of Antlers, OK; sister, Vickey Robinson and husband Ron of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Randy Childers and wife Michele of Edmond, OK; special aunt, Judy Storey of Haworth, OK; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Jerry Don is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Childers; grandparents, Doc and Esther Childers, William and Cora Briley.
