NAME: Jerry Lee Grimes, age 70, a longtime Coalgate, Atoka and Lehigh resident since 2002

BORN: He was born on Wednesday, December 12, 1945, to Raymond "Pete" and Bessie (McClendon) Grimes, at Watkinsville, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Jerry passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 in Atoka, OK.

AGE: 70 years, 5 months and 23 days.

EDUCATION: He attended school in Walkersville, GA.

OCCUPATION: Jerry was a life long truck driver, operator and owner. He received a million mile award for safe driving.

MARRIED: He married Scottie Lee (McCullough) on Sunday, August 23rd, 1964. They shared 52 wonderful years together.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: He was a Christian and loved Jesus. Jerry loved music, family, playing guitar, outdoors and tinkering with his lawnmowers. He always was very active in the community. He also loved having morning coffee and listening to tradio.
