Jerry Valdean Haberman, age 90, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Thursday, July 4, 1929, to Marvin Eugene and Lela Mattie (Nanney) Haberman, at Tulsa, OK.
Jerry passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at his home in Atoka, OK. He attended Pine Springs School near Farris.
Jerry was a builder and contractor. He married  Gay King on June 10, 1949 at Paris, TX. She preceded him in death on March 26, 2016. They celebrated 67 years of marriage. Jerry was a volunteer firefighter and Fire Chief at Farris. He enjoyed dominoes, fishing, hunting deer, and spending time with his family.
Jerry is survived by his son, Eddy Haberman of Atoka, OK; daughter, Kathy Haberman of Atoka, OK; granddaughter, Christina Mathews of Dodgeville, WI; grandson, Alan Haberman of Norman, OK; sister, Arlene Haberman of Vallejo, CA; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Lela Mattie Haberman; wife, Gay Haberman.
