Jerry Glen Jackson age , a lifelong Atoka County, OK resident. He was born on July 16, 1950 to Virgil Lee and Dovie Lorene (Wood) Jackson at Atoka, OK. Jerry passed away on May 31, 2025 at Atoka, OK. He attended and graduated from Tushka Public Schools with the Class of '69. He owned and operated Jackson's Atoka Phillip 66, worked at Atoka Memorial Hospital, Stringtown Prison, Ethan Allen in the mill room for 24 years until its' closing, Woods Design and HeavyBilt Inc. at Coalgate. Jerry married Bonnie Maxey on March 9, 1970 in Atoka, OK; they spent 55 wonderful years together before his passing. He was a member of Tushka Baptist Church, Tushka Fire Dept. and First Responder for 22 years where he served as Fire Chief. Jerry enjoyed watching the Tushka Lady Tiger softball games and giving Davey Durbin a hard time when he wasn't spending time at the farm.

Jerry is survived by his wife Bonnie Jackson of the home; son, Terry Glen Jackson of Atoka, OK; daughter, Tara Lynn Pittman and husband Bill of Tushka, OK; grandkids, Kelsey Ann Mobbs of Atoka, OK, Trinity Pittman and Aleesha Howard of Tushka, OK, August Pittman of Tushka, OK, Jah' Kinzlee Mims of Tushka, OK, Jaxson Pittman of Tushka, OK, Bentley Pittman of Tushka, OK; great granddaughter, Rhyder Belle of Atoka, OK; along with numerous nieces and nephews that he loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Dovie (Wood) Jackson; brothers, Dale Eddie Jackson, Donald Ray Jackson, Virgil Lee Roy Jackson, John Wayne Jackson; sisters in law, Barbra Jackson, Carla Jackson; parents in law, George and Mary Maxey.
