Jerry Lee Lansdale, age 64, a longtime Stringtown, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, January 25, 1956, to Jackie D and Glenda Ruth (Moore) Lansdale, at Jacksonville, NC. Jerry passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at his home in Stringtown, OK. He attended General Shafter Elementary in Bakersfield, CA and graduated from Stringtown High School in 1974. Jerry worked in concrete construction. He married Dianna (Ingram) on Thursday, November 9th, 1989 at DeQueen, AR. They celebrated 30 years of marriage before his passing. Jerry was a member of Stringtown First Baptist Church, Stringtown Volunteer Fire Dept. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing, outdoors, enjoyed cooking, working in the oilfield, was the best concrete man in five counties, best friend, mentor, was a giver and not a taker, and a wonderful husband.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Dianna Lansdale of the home in Stringtown, OK; son, Jacob Lansdale of Stringtown, OK; daughter, Della Loveland and husband Jeff of Ardmore, OK; grandchildren, Halli Lansdale, Colten Lansdale, Faith Loveland, Braydan Lansdale, Laruisa Lansdale of the home, Alyssa Loveland; parents, Jackie D and Glenda Ruth (Moore) Lansdale of Stringtown, OK; brothers, Randy Lansdale and wife Lori of Ennis, OK, Joey Lansdale and wife Shelly of Stringtown, OK; uncle, Johnny Lansdale of Sherman, TX; mother in law, Patricia Ingram of Coalgate, OK; brothers and sisters in law, Dearl "Dearwood" Ingram of Cairo, OK, Debbie Ward and husband Johnny of Cairo, OK, Donnie Ingram of Coalgate, OK, Delilah Pebworth and husband Alvin of Coalgate, OK; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Lansdale; aunt, Marti Lansdale; father in law, Albert "Doc" Ingram; sister in law, Mary Lynn Ingram; grandparents, Virgil and Rose Lansdale, Tom and Mattie Moore.
