Jerry Lee Mitchell, 58, of Comanche, Oklahoma, passed away on June 13, 2026, in Duncan, Oklahoma. He was born on June 13, 1968, in Los Banos, California, to Jerry Dean Mitchell and Millie Mae (Carr).

Jerry graduated from Los Banos High School in California in 1986. He dedicated much of his working life to the oil field industry, working as a roughneck for several companies over the years before retiring in 2016.

On December 19, 2012, Jerry married Laurie Ann Richardson. Together they shared 13 years together.

Jerry was a believer in Christ. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Los Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma football, Washington Redskins football, sports in general, WWE wrestling with family, western television shows, and family get-togethers. He also loved picking on his mother, Billye, and teasing family members every chance he got.
