Jerry Marie (Slaton) Moore, age 91, a Cooper, TX resident, formerly of Atoka, OK, was born on Tuesday, February 4, 1930, to George Washington and Tinnie Marie (Baldwin) Slaton, at Atoka County, OK. Jerry passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Cooper, TX. She graduated high school. Jerry was a housewife and homemaker. She married C.M. Moore on Thursday, November 17th, 1949. They celebrated 48 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on March 30, 1998. Jerry attended Atoka Church of Christ before moving to Cooper where she became a longtime member of the Church of Christ in Cooper, TX.
Jerry is survived by her son, Kyle Moore of Cooper, TX; daughter, Shelly Nelson of Cooper, TX; numerous grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by her parents, George Washington and Tinnie Marie (Baldwin) Slaton; husband, C.M. Moore; daughter, Claudia Kapple; 4 brothers.
