Jerry Ray Scott Sr, a Coalgate resident, was born on January 20, 1950, to Haskel Cleo "Bill" and Ola Pauline (Twyford) Scott, at Memphis, TX. He passed away on December 13, 2023 at Coalgate, Oklahoma, at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 23 days. Jerry attended schools at Cottonwood Elementary and Casa Grande, Arizona. He was a cotton farmer while he lived in Casa Grande. Jerry married Nancy Bush on September 5, 2008, in Atoka, OK. She preceded him in death. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Jerry enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and raising animals. He had a green thumb. Jerry liked listening to country music and watching westerns especially ones with his favorite actor Gene Autry.
