Jewel Talley passed away Thursday, October 23, 2008 at her residence in Madill. She was born December 30, 1922 to Thomas Alexander and Myrtle Annie (Hockersmith) George at McMillian, Oklahoma. She attended school at Bethel and McMillian. Jewel married Floyd E. Justice then later married Tommie R. Talley. She was an excellent seamstress, a Cub Scout leader, housewife and mother of four, she also loved to fish and garden. Jewel is survived daughter, Barbara Layhe of Madill, OK, two sons, Perry R. Talley of Ardmore, OK and Timothy R. Talley of Roland, Ok, four grandchildren, Mich A. Scott Layhe of Greenwood, AR, Timothy R. Talley Jr. of Waurika, OK, Evelyn Talley of Waurika, OK and Brian Keith Casteel of Marlow, OK, three grandchildren, Chance Casteel and Brian Casteel both of Duncan, OK and Caden Talley of Waurika, OK, one sister, Dollie Johnson of Krebs, Ok along with numberous other relatives and loved friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Myrtle George, three sister, Margie George Sherwood, Viola George Kramer and Aline George Smith, son, Thomas Earl Justice, grandparents, Allison William and Adaline George.
