Jewerl Kemp, age 76, a Duncan, OK resident formerly of Akron, OH. She was born on Friday, July 30, 1937, to James and Myrtle (Arthur) Harrison, at Atoka, OK. Jewerl passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Oklahoma City, OK. She attended Dunbar school in Atoka, OK. Jewerl was a homemaker and worked at KWA and The Lucky Shoe in Akron, OH. She married Daniel Kemp on February 27, in Lehigh, OK. Jewerl attended Shiloh Baptist Church in Lehigh, OK. She enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, picking pecans, going to the casino, and being with her kids. Jewerl is survived by her children, Lillian Kemp of Wadsworth, OH., Myrtle Hodo of Duncan, OK., Debra Kemp of Akron, OH., Gary "Mac" Wilson of Canton, OH., Walter "Wayne" Wilson and wife Darnelle of Akron, OH., Michael Wilson and wife Gilberta of Foster, OK., Kim Talley and husband Curtis of Huntsville, AL., Teryle Wilson of Akron, OH., Sylvia "Von" Wilson of Duncan, OK., Jeffrey Kemp of Miami, FL., Robbie Kemp of Akron, OH.; 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; siblings, Carolyn Harrison of Duncan, OK., Donald Harrison of Duncan, OK., Sheron Harrison of Duncan, OK., Corene Miller of Akron, OH.; long time friend, J.W. Williams of Akron, OH.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
