Obituary Jimmie Lee Adams age 85, a longtime Atoka area resident, was born on August 7, 1925, to James Wesley and Cliddie Ola (Newsom) Keeler, at Clarksville, Tx. Jimmie passed away on June 16, 2011 at Atoka, Ok. She attended Forrest Hill School. Jimmie was a Cook for Ray's Dinner then the Atoka Truck Stop for 23 years. She married Hollis Adams on May 23, 1942, at Tipton, Ok. Jimmie attended the New Zion Church. She loved gardening, canning, quilting, and spending time with family. Jimmie is survived by her children, Virginia Finch and husband Paul of Atoka, Ok., Mary Hood of Atoka, Ok., Sharon Wilp of Atoka, Ok., Barbara Corter and husband Jim of Lowell, Ar.; daughter-in-law, Sue Adams of Alex, Ok.; grandchildren, Paula Durham and husband Billy of Coweta, Ok., Jerry Miller Jr. and wife Tamera of New Jersey, Geraldine Chaney and husband Mark of Chickasha, Ok., Tammy Townsend and husband Charlie of Chickasha, Ok., Dennis Corter and wife Shanda of Rogers, Ar., Amy Warren and husband Joe of Rogers, Ar., Bo Finch and wife Jerri, Mark Finch and wife Jana, Sheryl Jewell and husband Calvin, and Terry Don Robbins all of Atoka, Ok.; 20 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Ruthie Keeler of Oklahoma City, Ok., Lylus Goggins of Atoka, Ok.; sister, Mildred Peeler of Hopland, Ca.; along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
