Jimmy John Cruse, age 66, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Tuesday, November 30, 1954, to Harry and Maudie (Meley) Cruse, at Oklahoma City, OK. Jimmy passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 peacefully in his home in Atoka, OK. He attended Capitol Hill High School.
Jimmy was a iron worker for the Union for 28 years.
Jimmy enjoyed cookouts, going to the lake, tinkering in the shop and loved spending time with grandchildren and educating his granddaughter Lydia about Big Foot.
Jimmy is survived by his sons, Kevin Michael Cruse and wife Dawn of Oklahoma City, OK, Van Cruse of Ohio; daughters, Brandy Goodin-Cruse of Ardmore, OK, Emily Cruse of Atoka, OK; numerous grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; along with other relatives and many dear friends.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Maudie (Meley) Cruse; brother, Bo Cruse.
