NAME: J.O. (John) Cravens, age 87, a Fittstown resident.

BORN: He was born on March 5, 1931, to Lawrence and Mary Inez (Brady) Cravens, at Haskell, OK.

PASSED AWAY: J.O. passed away on September 13, 2018 at Sulphur, OK.

AGE: 87 years, 6 months and 8 days.

EDUCATION: J.O. graduated from Boynton High School in 1949. He received a Bachelor's Degree of Science & Education in 1972 from East Central University.

OCCUPATION: J.O. was a Rodeo Cowboy, a U.S History teacher at Sulphur High School for 14 Years.

MILITARY: A veteran, he proudly served his country in the United States Army as a MP, during the Korean War.

MARRIED: J.O. married Mary L. Ward on December 29, 1956 at First Baptist Church of Coalgate, OK. She preceded him in death on July 12, 2011.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: J.O. was of the Methodist faith.He was a member of the International Professional Rodeo Association, past President & founding member.
