MILITARY: A veteran, he proudly served his country in the United States Army as a MP, during the Korean War.
MARRIED: J.O. married Mary L. Ward on December 29, 1956 at First Baptist Church of Coalgate, OK. She preceded him in death on July 12, 2011.
CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: J.O. was of the Methodist faith.He was a member of the International Professional Rodeo Association, past President & founding member.
