BORN: He was born on Saturday, July 20, 1940, to Edward and Eula Faye (Smith) Sherrill, at Velma, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Jody passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Norman, OK.

AGE: 76 years, 3 months and 28 days.

EDUCATION: He graduated from Atoka High School in 1958. Jody attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

OCCUPATION: Jody was a lifelong rancher and cattle buyer.

MARRIED: He married Joyce Marie Watson on Sunday, June 23rd, 1968 at Durant, Oklahoma. They shared 48 wonderful years together.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Jody was a longtime member of the Harmony Baptist Church. He loved watching his children and grandchildren play sports. Jody was the chairman of the Harry's Barber Shop and Club. He loved his cattle and going to cattle sales.

WIFE: Joyce Sherrill of the home in Atoka, OK.

DAUGHTERS: Tamara Edwards and husband Kelcey of Atoka, OK

Kelli Carroll and husband Calvin of Atoka, OK

SON: Coby Sherrill and wife Angela of Atoka, OK

GRANDCHILDREN: Kenley Edwards, Kaileigh Childers, Destry Mitchell, Kaden Edwards,

Cade Carroll, Chloe Sherrill, Noah Sherrill, Cam Carroll, all of Atoka, OK

GREAT GRANDCHILDREN:       Denver Mitchell of Atoka, OK

Jase Childers of Atoka, OK

SISTER: Von Howard and husband Paul of Atoka, OK

SISTER-IN-LAW: Jone Lackey and husband Tom of Durant, OK

along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
