IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joe Dale
Youngblood
December 28, 1959 – October 11, 2021
Joe Dale Youngblood, age 61, an Urbana resident, formerly a longtime Atoka County resident, was born on December 28, 1959, to Benny Joe and Dauphene Ann (Packard) Youngblood, at Oklahoma City, OK. Joe passed away on October 11, 2021 at his home in Urbana, MO. He attended Mamie Johnson and Atoka High School. Joe was a mechanic. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Joe was a christian. He was a lifetime member of American Hunting Club. Joe was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, ride motorcycles and camp out. Joe had an infectious smile and enjoyed a laugh with anyone he met, anything to put a smile on your face or give a laugh made him happy. As an animal lover Joe could train the most unusual pets, he once had a pet turtle whom his friend took home with him on several occasions, the turtle kept coming back home to Joe.As he grew into a young man and most of his life he worked very closely with his dad (Ben) repairing and rebuilding engines until dad passed away, Joe eventually made his way to Urbana, Mo where he called home for the past 20 years. Even though he was far from us in distance he was never far from our hearts, His brother Clifton, sister Belinda, Uncle Gene and Aunt Bobbie were blessed to be able to spend the last 48 hours with Joe reminiscing about life. He talked much about family and how very much he missed them. Joe knew The Lord and worked very hard over the past ten years growing his relationship with HIM. We love and will miss him dearly and we look forward to meeting him again someday in heaven!
Joe is survived by his partner, Barbara Parks of Urbana, MO; step mother, Mandy Youngblood of Hugo, OK; daughters, Angel Lynn Youngblood of Stringtown, OK, Miranda LeFlore Hightower of Spencer, OK; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Belinda Youngblood Diaz of Arlington, TX, Timothy Paul Chancellor of Antlers, OK, Clifton Ray Younglbood of Aransas Pass, TX, Larry Arthur Youngblood of Port Aransas, TX; uncle, Gene Odie Youngblood and wife Bobbie of Checotah, OK; along with neices, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
