John Sidney Doyle, age 82 years, 9 months and 16 days, a lifelong Kiowa resident, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at his home after a long, hard fought battle with cancer.  He was born on July 26, 1938, to Sidney Othel and Cora Mae (Mills) Doyle, at Kiowa.  John graduated with the Class of 1956 from Kiowa High School.  He married Parthenia (Wilkins) on July 25th, 1961 at McAlester.  They celebrated almost 60 years of marriage before his passing.  John retired from the Roads and Grounds Dept. at the Army Ammunition Plant in McAlester after 30 years of service.  He also proudly served on the Kiowa School Board for over 30 years.  John was a member of Kiowa United Methodist Church.  If you knew him, you knew that he never met a stranger, loved telling stories, going to goat sales and enjoyed riding his horses, literally one of the last of a dying breed, a Genuine/True Cowboy.  Most of all, he loved being "Papa" and spending time with his family.

John is survived by his wife, Parthenia Doyle of the home in Kiowa, OK; daughter, Jonna Zachary and husband Duke of Kiowa, OK; sons, Trent Doyle and wife Debbie of Kiowa, OK, Jeremy Doyle of Kiowa, OK; bonus son, DaltonTurney and wife Kendra and daughter Niki of Brewer, OK; grandchildren, Johnathan Rudrow and wife Kayla of Kiowa, OK, Clay Doyle of Kiowa, OK, Callie Doyle of Kiowa, OK, Tyler Lambert of Kiowa, OK, Zane Zachary of Kiowa, OK, Gavin Clunn of Kiowa, OK; great grandchildren, Roper Jay Sidney Rudrow of Kiowa, OK; sister, Helen Jan Huie of Washington State; brother in law, Joe Wilkins of Kiowa, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Cora Mae (Mills) Doyle; sisters, Mary L. Wilkins, Elizabeth A. Mangrum, Emma J. Dobbs; in laws, Royce and Inez Wilkins.
