John Wayne Farmer, age 75, a longtime Lane, OK resident.
He was born on Friday, August 20, 1948, to John Benton and Billye June (Murray) Farmer, at Ft. Levenworth, KS. John passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Plano, TX. He attended Thunderbird and Harmony Grade Schools and Stringtown High School.  John was a cowboy and rancher.
John proudly served his country in The National Guard. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
John is survived by his daughters, Patsy Farmer of Sherman, TX, Natalie Allen of Phoenix, AZ, Bobbi Kelso and husband John of Hazel, Ky; mother, Billye J. Reed of Durant, OK; sister, Randi Crawford of Durant, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
John was preceded in death by his father, John Benton Farmer; brother, Johnny B. Farmer; sister, Christine Farmer; grandparents. ******************************************************************************
