John passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Lindsay, OK. He attended Stringtown Elementary School and then high school in Lewisville, TX. John was a Builder. He married Anita (Holstine) in Texas. John was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Stringtown. John is survived by his wife, Anita Farmer of the home in Stringtown, OK.; mother, Dora Farmer of Gladewater, TX.; stepmother, Virginia Cole of Stringtown, OK.; siblings, Wayne Farmer and wife Rosa of Crystal, OK., Christine King of California; stepbrother, Blaine Holstine and wife Leslie of Stringtown, OK.; children, Johnathan Farmer of Stringtown, OK., Taylor Farmer of Stringtown, OK., Christy Farmer of Lewisville, TX., James Dale Franklin of Texas, Teresa Williams of Atoka, OK.; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
