Obituary John Edward "J.E." Garside age 67, a longtime Stringtown, Ok, was born on October 16, 1943, to Joseph Richard "Joe Dick" and Goldie L. (Jackson) Garside, at Oakland, Ca. J.E. passed away on June 27, 2011, at Atoka, Ok. He graduated from the Tulare Adult School. J.E. was a Railroader, Rancher and a Roper. He married Donna (Zollinger) on July 3, 1962, in Las Vegas, Nv. J.E. was a member of the Blackjack Baptist Church and attended Stringtown Baptist Church. He enjoyed team roping and rodeos. J.E. was a baseball coach for the GBA team, involved in the Stringtown FFA, and a 4-H leader for the Greenfield 4-H. J.E. is survived by his wife, Donna of the home in Stringtown, Ok.; children, John Garside and wife Natalie of Stringtown, Ok., William Garside and wife Sharlee of Stringtown, Ok.; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Garside of Bakersfield, Ca.; grandchildren, Johnny Garside of Stringtown, Ok., Sabrena Garside of Stringtown, Ok., Cody Garside of Bakersfield, Ca., Kelly Garside of Bakersfield, Ca., Russell O'neal of Stringtown, Ok., Casey Garside of Stringtown, Ok., Bailey Gallington of Frisco, Tx., Shelbie Gallington of Frisco, Tx.,; brother, Richard Garside & Dorothy Carpenter of Atoka, Ok., Lloyd "Corky" Garside of Bakersfield, Ca.; sisters, Pam Garside of Wasco, Ca., Joyce Thompson of Downey, Ca.; brother-in-law, Butch Zollinger and wife Susie of Stringtown, Ok.; along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. J.E. was preceded in death by his parents, Richard "Joe Dick" and Goldie L. (Jackson) Garside; son, Joseph Garside; grandchild, J.C.
