John Adam Willoughby, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Friday, July 3, 1942, to Vester Lee and Mary Elma Lee (Berry) Willoughby, at Walters, OK. John passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Atoka, OK at the age of 83 years, 7 months and 10 days. He graduated from Beaver High School with the Class of 1960. John was a Drilling Supervisor for the oilfield. He married Judith Lynn McLeod on Saturday, July 9th, 1960 at ST. Clair, MI. John enjoyed fishing, shooting and collecting guns, old cars, especially his corvette, tinkering on computers, fixing anything with a motor, and doing mechanical projects.John was survived by his wife, Judith Lynn Willoughby of the home; daughter, Vicki Tharp of the home; son, John Willoughby Jr. and wife Cheryl of Midland, TX; granddaughter, Elizabeth Tharp of Portland, OR; Along with many other dearly loved extended family members and friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Vester Lee and Mary Elma Lee (Berry) Willoughby; grandson, Justin Cody Tharp
