Johnnie Emmitt Cravins, age 91, a Farris, OK resident. He was born on Monday, December 4, 1933, to Lonnie and Luby (Davis) Cravins, at Haywood, OK. He passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Farris, OK.
Johnnie attended Haywood High School. He was married to Sammie (Walker) Cravins on October 31, 1956 in Stigler, Ok.
Johnnie was a hardworking man who spent many years as a truck driver, for Monroe Allen Lumber and Grain, then as an owner operator. Proudly traveling the open roads and making friends wherever he went. When he wasn't on the road, he could often be found outdoors doing what he loved most, hunting, fishing, and tending to his garden. He especially cherished time spent with his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Judy Bell of Farris, OK, sons, Mickey Benjamin and wife Debbie of Hugo, OK, Jacky Cravins of Farris, OK; granddaughters, Kristi Adams of Hugo, OK, Becky Aaron of McAlester, OK, Misti Lytle and husband Tim of Farris, OK, Tricia Compton of Hugo, OK, Beckah Langley of Hugo, OK; grandsons, Sean Benjamin of Farris, OK, John Cravins of Farris, OK, Cody Cravins of Farris, OK, Brandon Cravins, of Farris, OK, Justin Benjamin and wife Brittani of Hugo, OK, James Jones of Hugo, OK; sisters, Wilma Corhn of Krebs, OK, Gladys Pierce of McAlester, OK
Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, other relatives, and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Luby (Davis) Cravins; wife of 48yrs, Sammie (Walker) Cravins; daughter, Patricia Fite; brother, Clarence Cravins, Sammie Cravins, J.W. Cravins, Jimmy Wayne Cravins,; brothers, Imogene Buchanan, Eda Belle LaPuzza, Ruby Duval, Louise Turner, Alene Boatright-Reed.; infant sister, Dorothy Mae Cravins; grandsons, Jon Jones, and Shane Benjamin.
