Johnny Marion Airington Sr, a long time Lehigh and Coalgate resident, was born on February 2, 1941, to William Florence and Bessie Sever (Cochnauer) Airington, at Boswell, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on February 1, 2026, at Coalgate, surrounded the ones he loved. JM was 84 years, 11 months and 30 days old. He attended school at Durant and Boswell. JM married Gracy Maudiene McClary on January 2, 1968, at Atoka, Oklahoma. They were blessed with 50 years and one day together. JM and Maudiene owned Johnny's New and Used Store and Johnny's Auction for many years. They helped many people through their store and auctions. Their auctions were the local hangout for lots of folks to have fun and eat the best burgers in town. JM was a faithful member of the Jesus Name Apostolic Church where he served as a Deacon and any other job he could find to do. He loved his church and will be greatly missed there. JM enjoyed having big yard sales at his place on the highway in Lehigh. His favorites time were camping and fishing with his family. Surely he has a pontoon boat in Heaven.
