Johnny Ray Gibby, age 77, a Paris, TX resident formerly of Atoka County was born on Saturday, February 14, 1942, to John and Alpha Gladys (Bamburg) Gibby, at Corsicana, TX.
Johnny passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Paris, TX. He attended Colbert school. Johnny was a mechanic and a heavy machinery operator. He married Wilma Dean (Dillard) on Wednesday, January 10th, 1962 in Durant, OK. They had 51 years of marriage before her passing on January 13, 2013. Johnny was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He was an extreme hunter and fisherman. Johnny loved teaching his grandchildren about the woods and water, but mostly just spending time with them.

Johnny is survived by his daughter, Tanya Gibby of Paris, TX; daughter-in-law: Crystal Lair of Paris, TX; grandsons, Robert Dawlton Krebbs and fiance Cassie Brock of Paris, TX, Anthony Cole Krebbs and fiance Krysta Smith of Caney, OK, Denver Ray Krebbs of Paris, TX; great granddaughters, Gatlyn Krebbs of Paris, TX, Emerie Krebbs of Caney, OK; brother, Darrel Gibby and wife Onean of Achille, OK; sister, Dorothy Sue Stevens and husband Robert of Achille, OK; brother-in-law, Glen Dillard of Caney, OK; sister-in-law, Lee Smith and husband Donnie of Caney, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Johnny is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Gibby; parents, John and Alpha Gladys (Bamburg) Gibby; daughters, Carla Dawn Gibby, Tina Marie Gibby; son, Baby Boy Gibby; son-in-law, Kenneth James Krebbs; grandson, Kenneth Estel Krebbs; sister-in-law, Christine Dillard; siblings, Reece Gibby, Leonard Gibby, Alford Gibby, Jean Gibby, Susie Gibby, Grace Baker.
