Johnny Lee Williams, age 75, a longtime Caney, OK resident. He was born on Saturday, October 9, 1948, to Elbert James and Martha Florence (Syler) Williams, at Pittsburg, OK. Johnny passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Caney, OK. He graduated from Atoka High School. Johnny was a mechanic at Dayton Tires. Johnny proudly served his country in The Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He married Audrey Kay (Worlein) on Friday, May 20th, 1994 at Denison, TX. They celebrated 16 years of marriage before her passing on October 2, 2020. Johnny enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke.
Johnny is survived by his brothers, Harold Williams and wife Pauline of Atoka, OK, Charles Williams and wife Verna of Henricks, OK, Clifford Williams of Tuskahoma, OK, Jimmy Williams of Coalgate, OK; special friends, Peggy McBride of Caney, OK, Tyler McBride and wife Kristina of Caney, OK
along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert James and Martha Florence (Syler) Williams; wife, Audrey Williams; siblings, Kenneth Williams, Hazel Colvy, Rita Turner, Anthony Williams, Larry Williams.
