Obituary Joseph "Joe" Don Hokett, age 41, a longtime Atoka area resident, was born on Monday, December 29, 1969, to Donald and Carolyn (Whitmire) Hokett, at Tulsa, Ok. Joe passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Oklahoma City, Ok. He graduated in 1988 from Atoka High School. Joe was a Tire Shop Owner/ Operator. He married Marsha (Goodson) on May 9, 2009 at Calera, Ok. Joe enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, hunting, and off roading. He was a Christian and of the Baptist Faith. Joe is survived by his wife, Marsha Hokett of the home in Atoka, Ok., children, Chance Wilson, Dillion Brewster, Bryar Wilson, and Kelsey Hokett all of Atoka, Ok., Chloe Paden of Coalgate, Ok.; grandchildren, Carter and Tracyn Wilson and one on the way of Atoka, Ok.; siblings, Angela Layton and husband John of Coleman, Ok., Aundria Gallemore of Oklahoma City, Ok., Ronnie Hokett and wife Lisa of Oklahoma City, Ok., Donna Joe Moore and husband Kevin of Oklahoma City, Ok.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
