NAME: Gwendolyn Joyce Rector, age 76, a lifelong Lane, OK resident.

BORN: She was born on Wednesday, February 14, 1940, to Jake and Gracie Viola (Keith) Davis, at Jumbo, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Joyce passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Atoka, OK.

AGE: 76 years 1 month and 16 days.

EDUCATION: She attended Oak Grove near Jumbo and graduated from Rattan High School.

OCCUPATION: Joyce was a business owner, she operated Joyce's Bar in Lane the past 15 years plus. She was a shuttle car driver and truck driver, did construction building, worked for state parks, was a seamstress and did upholstery work.

MARRIED: She married Roger Bart Rector at Lane, OK. They had 38 years together.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Joyce is a Christian. She was involved in the Western Mining Council. Joyce loved gardening, bird watching, collecting Indian artifacts, jewelry making, crocheting, and ancestry work.
