Joyce Elaine Sisson, age 64, a longtime Norman, OK resident, formerly of the Wilson Community, OK, was born on Saturday, September 14, 1957, to Albert Wesley and Elizabeth Yvonne (DeWitt) Norris, at Petaluma, CA.
Joyce passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Norman, OK. She attended Wapanucka School, graduated form Olney High School and received a Bachelor's Degree from SOSU in Business Administration. Joyce was an Insurance Agent and sales manager for many years.
She was of the baptist faith. Joyce enjoyed listening to music, sharing pictures, visiting friends and family, going to family gatherings and concerts, talking on the phone, balloon festivals, Shakespeare in the Park, organizing events and loved being with her family.
Joyce is survived by her son, James Allen Self of McKinney, TX; daughter, Elaina Renee Sisson of Norman, OK; grandchildren, Aramis Self of McKinney, TX, Marilyn Ames of Norman, OK; step father, Bobby J. Smith of Atoka, OK; siblings, Ronald Norris and wife Deanya of Pauls Valley, OK, Kenneth Norris and wife Deborah of Atoka, OK, Kevin Norris and wife Debbie of Atoka, OK, Tami Broughton and husband Ed of Tushka, OK, Travis Smith and Jessica Bernal of Pauls Valley, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Joyce was preceded in death by her father, Albert Wesley Norris; mother, Elizabeth Yvonne (DeWitt) Smith; brother, Danny Norris.
