Joyce Mae (Ward) Williams

Joyce Mae (Ward) Williams, a Boggy Depot resident, was born on February 5, 1961 to Hillmon Bill Ward and Billie Jean (Lackey) Ward at Coalgate, OK. She passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on September 20th, 2026 at home in Boggy Depot, OK., at the age of 65 years, 7 months, and 15 days. Joyce attended Cottonwood Elementary school, and graduated from Coalgate High School class of 1979. Joyce retired from the Coal County Assessor’s office where she worked for 24 years. Her favorite job title was being a Mom, Ma, Mo, Grammy, and Aunt JoJo. She married Raymond “Hank” Williams on July 2, 1994 in Cairo, OK. Joyce enjoyed attending her grandkids sporting events, fishing, sewing, crafting, crocheting, and spending time with her family.
