J. R. Lancaster, age 82, a Coalgate resident, passed away on November 2, 2019 at Coalgate, Oklahoma. He was born on August 18, 1937, to Jess and Inez Opal (Moses) Lancaster, at Clearview, OK. He attended & graduated from Coalgate High School in 1955. J. R. was a a sewing machine mechanic for Blue Bell/Wrangler, he retired in 1986. J.R. married Hazel Estella Lemons in 1957 at Coalgate, Oklahoma, she preceded him in death. J.R. was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church of Coalgate, he was a mason. He enjoyed wood working & fishing. J.R. was a good & loving father; he will be missed by many.
