OBITUARY

NAME: Juanita June (Jones) Tomlinson, age 83, a Pittsburg, TX resident formerly of Lane, OK.Â

BORN: She was born on Friday, June 30, 1933, to Earl and Susie Frances (Biggs) Jones, at Coalgate, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Juanita passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Pittsburg, TX after a short illness of pneumonia.

AGE:  83 years, 11 months and 25 days.

EDUCATION: She attended Nashoba Schools and graduated from Atoka High School in 1952.

OCCUPATION: Juanita was a longtime employee and cashier at Henson's Hardware Store in Atoka, OK

MARRIED: She married the love of her life, Hubert Dale Tomlinson on Monday, June 30th, 1952 in Texarkana, TX. They had 33 wonderful years together before his passing on June 17, 1986.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: After marrying her love, Juanita and Hubert moved to Ventura, CA to pursue their happiness and raise a family. In 1971 they came back to Atoka County and bought a farm in Lane, OK, where they finished raising their boys. Juanita had many interests and always wanted to learn more. She was an excellent mother, wife, super cook, seamstress, and quilter. She made beautiful quilts and blankets. Juanita could even filet a catfish and process a deer. There is not enough to say about Juanita to do enough credit of the accomplishments she has achieved in her lifetime. She will be missed by her family and friends.
