Judy Sue Jenkins, age 78, a Caney, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, June 2, 1943, to Dewey and Dorothy (Jorgenson) Brandon. Judy grew up in Wapato, WA. Judy passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022 in Durant, OK. She attended Wapato high school in Washington. Judy was an Executive Assistant to the President of Ameristate Bank. She married Harley Jenkins on Friday, March 4th, 1960 at Roswell, NM. They spent 56 wonderful years together before his passing in 2016. Judy enjoyed crafts, sewing, fishing, baking, and cooking. Judy loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was a very kind and loving person, always giving to the people she met. Judy never met a stranger. Most she met became lifelong friends.
Judy is survived by her children, Terri Cloyde and husband Bob of Mantachie, MS, Tina Luckman and husband Gregg of Magnolia, TX, Russ Jenkins of Caney, OK; grandchildren, Michael Cloyde of Birmingham, AL, Steve Cloyde of Mantachie, MS, Nicholas Cloyde of Mantachie, MS, Hollis Jenkins of Katy, TX, Cole Jenkins of Caney, OK, Gage Luckman of Magnolia, TX, Case Luckman of Magnolia, TX; sisters, Rita Laws and husband Paul of Granger, WA, Roma Gilman of Eugene, OR; sister in law, Paula Brandon of Granger, WA; daughter in law, Kellie Jenkins of Caney, OK; cousins, Doug Blagburn of Bogota, TX, Debbie Williams of Cooper, TX; nieces, Robin Whiting and husband Chad of Pasco, WA, Rhonnie Robbins-Smith and husband Dennis of Margate, FL, Rona Henney and husband Keith of Elkton, OR, Rose McCormack and husband Dennis of Junction City, OR; nephews, Jet Laws and wife Mindy of Granger, WA, Richard Welch and wife Carrie of Scappoose, OR, Randy Welch of Eugene, OR, Robert Welch of Oregon Coast, OR; special friends, Marilyn Whittington, Susie and Dwayne Pool, Donna Walton, Mindy Carroll, Charles McCall, Phyllis Brister, James and Deatra Fox; along with other relatives and many dear friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Jenkins; parents, Dewey and Dorothy Brandon; son, Greg Jenkins; brother, Dewey 'Sonny' Brandon; in laws, William Harrison Jenkins, Effie and Luke Reid; nephews, Kenny Laws, Raymond Welch.
