OBITUARY

NAME: Julianne "Julie" Marie Bowen, age 53, an Atoka, OK resident, formerly a longtime Coal County resident.

BORN: She was born on Tuesday, November 20, 1962, to Elmer Earl "Hot Shot" and Betty Alice (Blaine) Bowen, at Oklahoma City, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Julie passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Atoka, OK.

AGE: 53 years, 10 months and 14 days.

EDUCATION: She attended Coalgate High School where she graduated in 1981 and later attended East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.

OCCUPATION: Julie worked for 23 years in the medical field for Medical X-Ray Consultants before retiring.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Julie loved country living, camping and going to the lake.

SURVIVED BY

Julie shared her life with Dana Haney until his passing in February 2003. She met and has since shared her life with Tommy Bayles and the Bayles family, which she leaves behind. Julie also leaves a sister Janet and husband James and family, Joseph & Jenna, a brother Perry and wife Linda and family, Shiloh and Noah. Also her niece Sarah and nephew Stephen, Aunt Elaine and family, and other family and friends.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY

Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Brother Mike, Grandmother Lucille, Uncle Doss and Step-dad Don.
