June Rose (Praytor) Taylor, age 82, a Wapanucka, OK resident, was born on Sunday, June 21, 1931, to Bertie E. and Fern (Nickles) Praytor, at Crystal, OK. June passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Wapanucka, OK. She graduated from Atoka High School on May 18, 1950. June was an office manager. She married Richard Taylor on May 10, 1952, in Tushka, OK. June was a member of the Wilson Community Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, cooking for her family and friends, crocheting, and the opera. June is survived by her husband, Richard Taylor of Wilson Community, OK.; children, Dirk Taylor and wife Carol of Madill, OK., Ellen Peoples and husband Dean of Wapnucka, OK.; brother, Bob Praytor and wife Mary Lou of Atoka, OK.; in-laws, Mae Meadows and husband Ralph of Tushka, OK., D C Taylor and wife Delita of Caney, OK., Mildred Jones of Atoka, OK., Vera Marable of Broken Arrow, OK.; grandchildren, Robin Brister and husband Matt of Caney, OK., Brad Taylor of Guthrie, OK., Richard Cook of Coleman, OK., Cale Taylor of Dallas, TX., Derick Peoples and wife Lindsey of Ohio, Brittany Keller and husband Justin of Oklahoma City, OK.; great grandchildren, Kenzi Hartwell of Antlers, OK., Traevyn Cook of Coleman, OK., Peyton and Brylen Brister of Caney, OK., Easton Keller of Oklahoma City, OK., Kagen Peoples of Ohio, Zayne Peoples of Ohio; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. June was preceded in death by her parents, Bertie E. and Fern (Nickles) Praytor, siblings, Mary Evans, Norma Evans, B.E. Praytor, and John Praytor; grandson, Baby Taylor.
