Junior Douglas Woods, age 72, a Denison, TX resident, was born on Tuesday, April 11, 1950, to Buster Woods and Billie Jean (Roland) Crow, at Atoka, OK. Douglas was raised by his stepfather, Arto Crow. Douglas passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 at his home in Denison, TX. He graduated from Atoka High School with the class of '69. Douglas was a mechanic/machinist at the same location through various name changes and retiring from Caterpillar. He married Deborah (Robinson) Woods on Saturday, June 21st, 1969 at Atoka, OK. Douglas enjoyed fishing, tinkering on cars, coaching when his kids were young, enjoy riding his tractor, and spending time with family, especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Debbie (Robinson) Woods of the home; mother in law, Annie Robinson; children, Sheila Kennedy and husband Steve of Litchfield Park, AZ, Judy Miller and husband Mike of Denison, TX, Joseph Woods and wife Cherri of Colbert, OK; grandchildren, Tyler Kennedy, Caitlin Kennedy, Nathan Kennedy, Sarah Vogel-McClenny and husband Chris, Kyle Vogel, Avery Miller and wife Rebecca, Thomas Woods and wife Barbara, Sidney Woods, LeAndra Woods; great grandchildren, Prestin Thomas, Sammy Gage, Ensley Woods, Hayden Miller, Doug Miller; siblings, Carolyn Cantrell, Mary Goodwin, John Crow and wife Tammy, Ralph Crow and wife Pam, Jerry Crow, Barbara McCarty, Virgil Crow, Glenn Crow and wife Charlotte, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dearly loved friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Buster Dewitt Woods; mother and step father, Billie Jean (Roland) Crow, Arto Crow; father in law, Marshall 'Bo' Robinson; siblings, Delinda Evans, Larry Crow, Gene Crow, Donald Crow, Christine Crow
