Justin Max Coates, age 39, a Tushka, OK resident was born on Saturday, January 2, 1982, to Earnest and Nancy Evelyn (Merritt) Coates, at Dension, TX. Justin passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Durant, OK. He graduated from Tushka High School. Justin worked as a Concrete Finisher, he enjoyed hunting, camping, and loved to coon hunt during his childhood.

Justin is survived by his daughter, Brooklyn Faith Coates of Lehigh, OK; parents, Earnest and Nancy Evelyn (Merritt) Coates of Atoka, OK; sister, Robin Banks of Atoka, OK; brother, Jody Coates of Seattle, WA; uncles and aunts, Leslie and Pat Coates of Wichita Falls, TX; Doyal and Lucille Broughton of Atoka, OK; Alice and Jessie Hunt of Atoka, OK; grandmother, Irene Merritt of Coalgate, OK; mother of his daughter, Mary Horn of Lehigh, OK; Along with host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Justin is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Merritt, Earnest Coates; grandmother, Donnie Coates; uncles, Vernon Coates, Steve Coates, Hollis Coates, Larry Coates, Jim Merritt; aunt, Mary Sue Coates.
