Karen Lynn Wilson, age 54, a life long Atoka, OK resident, was born on Tuesday, November 1, 1966, to Clarence and Bobbie June (Wheeler) Wilson, at Atoka, OK. Karen passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Atoka, OK. She graduated from Atoka High School where she was the homecoming queen and was a cheer leader. Karen was an active member in FCCLA; she placed first in the solo and job interview competition. She also went on to represent Oklahoma FCCLA in the job interview competition in Washington, DC. Karen later attended Murray State College and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Karen was a homemaker She married Lance Battles and later married Jack Lee. Karen was a member of the First Baptist Church in Atoka. She enjoyed watching television, crafting, spending time and traveling with her friends, going to the casino and reading. Karen was devoted and loved her friends and family. She loved to laugh and have fun. Karen is survived by her mother, Bobbie June (Wheeler) Wilson of Atoka, OK; companion, Rodney McKinney of Atoka, OK; children, Nicole Lee of Atoka, OK, Rowdy Dale McKinney of Atoka, OK; friends, Dustin Callicoat of Atoka, OK, Elizabeth Goodson of Lane, OK, Trapper Thomas of Ada, OK, Aaron Hise of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Ellie Maylynn McKinney of Atoka, OK, Sydnee Taylor Thomas of Atoka, OK, Aaron Dakota Hise will be here soon, "Oh, he is here!!!"; aunt, Judy Wilson of Coalgate, OK; aunt and uncle, Jim and Jerri Wheeler of Atoka, OK; along with other relatives and many dear friends. Karen was preceded in death by her father, Dale Wilson; maternal grandparents, Bob Wheeler and wife Minnie; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wilson; uncles, Russell Wilson, Bob Wilson; aunts and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tucker
