Obituary Karl Edward Goodson, age 60, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident, He was born on Friday, February 27, 1953, to Edward and Gladys (McDaniels) Goodson, at Antlers, OK. Karl passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Atoka, OK. He graduated from Atoka High School in 1971. Karl was a ranch hand. Karl proudly served his country in the Army. He married Gayla Jean (Hall) on June 7, 1983 in Atoka, OK. Karl was a member of the Lane Baptist Church. He loved playing music, horses, and spending time with his grandchildren. Karl enjoyed any cowboy work and ranch rodeos. He was a proud member of the Wards Chapel Fire Department and enjoyed helping neighbors in need. Karl is survived by his wife, Gayla Jean Goodson of the home in Atoka, OK.; children, Robin Jones of Silo, OK., Tiffany Garrett of Atoka, OK., Jody Goodson and wife Shanis of Farris, OK., Justin Williams and wife Cassandra of Little Elm, TX.; sisters, Ruth Ann Stutts and husband David of Whitewright, TX.; Linda Coles of Atoka, OK.; brother-in-law, Charles Schrorder of Hurst, TX.; grandchildren, Tanner, Hailey, and Hannah Jones, Bailey Garrett, Karson Geroge, Caden Goodson, Jocelynn and Sunni Dae Williams; great nephew, Ty Brewster; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
