IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kathleen Cozene
Morgan
November 21, 1942 – March 16, 2018
OBITUARY
NAME: Kathleen "Kathy" Cozene (McKinzie) Morgan, age 75, a longtime Wilson Community, OK resident.
BORN: She was born on Saturday, November 21, 1942, to Winfred and Margarette (Rowton) McKinzie, at Tushka, OK.
PASSED AWAY: Kathy passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 at her home with her loved ones by her side.
AGE: 75 years, 3 months and 23 days.
EDUCATION: She graduated Tushka High School in 1960.
OCCUPATION: Kathy stayed busy working in Atoka and Johnston County for over 50 years. She was a welcoming familiar face to so many at the Atoka Livestock Auction, Cochran Propane, and the Atoka County Election Board, just to name a few where she enjoyed visiting with the community until her decline in health in 2017.
MARRIED: She met a handsome young man of the name of Paul Morgan Jr. at the drive-in and said I do to him on Friday February 28, 1964, Atoka, OK where she became a military wife, as Paul enlisted in the Air Force. They made their home in Cheyenne, WY where they would add their first child Dale to the family. Within two years, they completed their small family with a second son Daryl. In 1972 they would purchase the property in the Wilson Community of Atoka County that would become their home. Kathy and Paul would celebrate 54 years of wedded bliss before God called her home.
CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Kathy was a faithful member of 1st Baptist Church in Wapanucka for many years. She dearly loved the Lord and showed this in her daily countenance. Kathy was one of a kind true lady. What you saw is what you got, as she did not put on airs. Kathy was remarkably genuine, loving and caring. Always putting others first. She devoted herself completely to her family and you were extremely blessed to be a part of that fold. She enjoyed singing in the choir. Kathy loved taking care of her husband and spoiling her granddaughter. In 1991 Kathy was overjoyed to welcome a granddaughter, Kᾱsi, to the family; Kᾱsi was the apple of her Nana's eye. Kᾱsi would be lovingly spoilt rotten by the absolute best Nana in the world.
