NAME: Kay Lou (Childers)Bills, age 73, a longtime Coalgate resident.

BORN: She was born on March 05, 1943, to Elmo and Dolores "Pee Wee " (Childers) Childers, at Ada, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Kay passed away on December 26, 2016 at Coalgate, OK.

AGE: 73 years, 9 months and 21 days.

EDUCATION: Kay attended Coalgate High School and graduated in 1961 and later attended & graduated from East Central University in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in business education. She attended Central State University and graduated in 1974 with a Vocational Business & Office education certificate.

OCCUPATION: Kay was a business teacher & Cooperative Office Education Coordinator for Coalgate Public School for 26 years. She was an instructor for Summer sessions at Kiamichi Vo-Tech.

MARRIED: Kay married Joe Dennis Bills on Sept. 1, 1961, he preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 2013

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: She was a member of the Coalgate Church of Christ. Kay was a member of the National Education, Oklahoma Education, and the Coal County Teachers Associations for 26 years. She was a member of the American Vocational Association, Oklahoma Vocational Association for 14 years.
