Obituary Kenneth Gipson, age 58, an Ada, OK resident, was born on Sunday, January 24, 1954, to Leonard and Eula (Williams) Gipson, at Madill, OK. Kenneth passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Ada, OK. He graduated from Madill high school in 1973, then received his bachelors degree in radiology in 1980 from ECU. Kenneth was a radiologic technologist for 32 years at the Pushmataha County Hospital in Antlers, OK., Atoka Memorial Hospital, and Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada, OK. He was a member of the Mitchell Memorial Methodist Church in Ada. He was very friendly and sociable, and enjoyed camaraderie with people. He was a true patient advocate and was pleasant to all patients. Kenneth is survived by his mother, Eula (Williams) Gipson of Madill, OK.; siblings, Carter Gipson and wife Theresa of Noble, OK., Darrell Gipson and wife Donna of Ada, OK., Clara Sheffield of Pottsboro, TX., Jonathan Gipson and wife Laura of Ada, OK.; longtime companion and friend, Odelia Tiger and children of Ada, OK.; nieces & nephews Deidre Clark and husband Joe of Okinawa Japan, Kathleen Badgett and husband Scott and their children Austin and Kiera, Shane Sheffield, Jessica Sheffield and Brittany Gipson-Whartenby; along with other relatives, and many friends.
