Kimbrella Kay Willis, age 57, a lifelong Caney, OK resident, was born on Thursday, March 12, 1964, to Perry Oliver and Shirley Ann (Walker) Willis, at Durant, OK. Kimbrella passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at her home in Caney, OK surrounded by her loved ones. She attended Caney graduated from Coleman High School. Kimbrella later attended Kiamichi VoTech and got her child certification. Kimbrella was a secretary for Organization of Rural Oklahoma Schools where she retired in 2015 after 20 years. She was a very active member of First Baptist Church of Caney, served as song leader, did all the night services, worked Vacation Bible School and nursery and was the "number 1 cookie maker". Kimbrella liked reading, working work search puzzles, and loved watching her nieces and nephews play sports.
Kimbrella is survived by her father, Perry Willis of Caney, OK; sisters, Krista Armstrong and husband Rob of Owasso, OK, Kayla Adams and husband Jon of Caney, OK; nieces and nephews, Leslie Van Meter and husband Ethan of Owasso, OK, Logan Armstrong and wife Kylee of Owasso, OK, Tyler Adams of Caney, OK, Abbie Adams of Caney, OK; aunts and uncles, Vickie Blackburn and husband Roy of Caney, OK, Kenneth Walker and wife Dovie of Tushka, OK, Jack Walker and wife Thea of Caney, OK, Thomas "Bo" Walker and wife Sharon of Caney, OK, Glenda Vernon of Tishomingo, OK; along with cousins and other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Kimbrella was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Willis; aunts and uncles, Lonnie Walker, Faye O'Hern; grandparents, Dick and Pauline Willis, Clarence and Mary Walker.
