OBITUARY Larry Grant Brower, age 69, a longtime Farris, OK resident, He was born on October 4, 1942 at Oklahoma City, OK. to Warren Grant Brower and Virginia Wilson Brower. Larry passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012 at his residence in Farris, OK. He attended from Putman City North High School in Oklahoma City, OK. Larry also attended U.C.O. Larry retired from the United States Navy after 21 years of service, as a senior chief petty officer. He married Elizabeth Sain on March 26, 1971 at Oklahoma City, OK. Larry was a member of the Northwest Baptist Church at Oklahoma City, OK.and a member of the V.F.W. post 4859. He loved to hunt and fish but mostly loved spending time with his grandchildren that he loved very much. Hunter helped his Pawpaw all the time. Larry is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Sain Brower of the home; sons, Jeff Brower and wife Lani of Farris, Ok., Jerry Jones and wife Dawn of Suffork, VA.; brothers, Darrell Brower and wife Susan of Oklahoma City, OK., David Brower and wife Lena of Oklahoma City, Ok.; sister, Linda Brandt and husband Ronnie of AR.; grandchildren, Blake Jones of Suffork, VA., Kira Johnston and husband Jacob of Hobbsville, NC., Maia Day and husband Justin of Ardmore, OK., Hunter Brower of Farris, OK., Maranda Brower of Farris, OK.; father, Warren Brower and wife "Pete" of Grove, OK.;along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends. Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Kemp; stepfather, Vern Kemp; brother, Donnie Brower ; sisters, Sharon Whittit, Thelma Simpson; brother-in-law, Bruce Sain.
