Larry Howard Smith, age 65, a lifelong Coal and Atoka, OK resident. He was born on Wednesday, July 30, 1958, to Howard and Maudie Lynn (Butler) Smith, at Coalgate, OK. Larry passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Atoka, OK. He attended Farris Grade School and graduated from Atoka High School with the class of 1976. Larry was a logger and worked in construction remodeling homes and mobile homes. Larry proudly served his country in The U.S. Army. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering and fixing things.
Larry is survived by his sons, Larry Wade Smith and Martina Swoboda of Owasso, OK, Kevin Lynn Smith and wife Alexandria of Arvoda, CO; grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Kayla Smith, Trinity Smith, Summer Smith, Autumn Smith, Natalie Smith; brothers, David Lee Woods and wife Joy of Marlow, OK, Billy Joe Woods of Mousoula, MT, "Little" Larry Ernest Smith and wife Shellie of Atoka, OK; sister, Victoria Shanks and husband James of Farris, OK; aunts, Laura Smith of Farris, Mary Smith of Ft. Worth, TX, Marisie Smith of Farris, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Maudie Lynn Smith; infant brother. ******************************************************************************
