Obituary

Leamon Ollen Prater, age 84, a  lifetime Atoka County  resident was born on Friday, December 13, 1935, to Columbus Ollen and Halla Mae (French) Prater, at Bentley, OK.
Leamon passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Colbert, OK.  He attended Bentley and Tushka schools. Leamon was a foreman in logistics. Leamon proudly served his country in the army and served during the Korean Conflict.
He married Delores Hixon on Tuesday, July 22nd, 1958 at Electra, Texas.
Leamon enjoyed fishing, tinkering with motors, and creating.
Leamon is survived by hi wife,  Delores Prater of  Atoka, OK; sons, Roger Prater and wife Linda of Colbert, OK, Michael McCrary and wife Stephanie of Bosier City, LA, Roy Lee Prater and wife Diana of Wichita Falls, TX, Russell Prater and wife Melanie of Bismark, AR; daughters, Debra Judd and husband Randy of Beaver, OK, Hallie Puncochar and husband Walter of Forest Grove, OR, Rebecca Krawczyk and husband Robert of Tempe, AZ; grandchildren, Shannon Prater of Oklahoma City, OK, Lee Prater and wife Ashley of Denison, TX,  Johnny Prater of Colbert, OK, Marshal Prater of Austin, TX, Brian McCrary of Bosier City, LA, Mary Beth Carnidas of Salem, OR, Andrea Sanchez and husband Louis of Witchita Falls, TX, Jessica Henderson and husband Terral of Witchita Falls, TX, Roxanne Hall and husband Chase of Denison, TX, Bailey Judd of Beaver, OK, Kalie Neumeyer of Forest Grove,OR, Ellee Puncochar of Forest Grove, OR; great grandchildren, Trinity, Leah, Isaac, Jayda, Hallie, Shepherd, Daisy, Autumn, Nevaeh, Mia, Trucker, Allie; great great grandchildren, Aubree, Zylin; sister, Nola Cook of McKinney, TX; along with other relatives and many dear friends.
Leamon was preceded in death by his parents, Columbus and Halla Mae (French) Prater; son, Steven Gibson; sisters,  Alta Lavone Prater; brother in law, Titus Cook
