Leatrice Faye Evans, age 93, a longtime Trevyn, OK resident. She was born on Sunday, December 6, 1931, to Clarence Edward and Ethel Mae (Shields) Glover, at Holdenville, OK. Leatrice passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at her home in Holdenville, OK. She attended Holdenville School. Leatrice was a cook at the Holdenville Nursing Home. She married Lawrence Edward Evans Sr. at Holdenville, OK. He preceded her in death in 1986. Leatrice enjoyed cooking, sewing, and making hobo dinners. She made great mac n cheese, sewing little blankets and fixing everybody's clothes, being with her family and having them around was her favorite place to be.
Leatrice is survived by her sons, Lawrence Edward Evans Jr. of Holdenville, OK, Steven Leon Evans of Holdenville, OK; daughters, Debra Louise Evans of Holdenville, OK, Teresa Lynn Evans of Holdenville, OK; grandsons, Anthony Joseph Hartzell of Wewoka, OK, Michael Evans of Holdenville, OK, Travis James and wife Amber of Boliver, Mo, Adam James of Holdenville, OK, Richard Winn of California, Derek Wayne Evans of Holdenville, OK; granddaughters, April Dawn Winn of Oklahoma City, OK, Ashley Nicole Winn of Shawnee, OK, Erin Marlow of Florida, Kristy Evans of Okemah, OK; brother, Wendell Wayne and wife Cherry of Holdenville, OK; along with great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Leatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Edward and Ethel Mae (Shields) Glover; husband, Lawrence Edward Evans Sr.; sons, Ricky Lee Evans, Danny Joe Evans; daughter, Kimberly Ann Evans; sons in law, Terry Lynn James, Lewis Allen Hartzell; grandson, David Lee Evans.
