Lenard "Pap" Louis Allen, age 76, a lifelong Atoka County, OK resident. He was born on Thursday, November 11, 1948, to Lenard Leon and Beulah (Turner) Allen, at Caney, OK. Lenard passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025 at his home in Atoka, OK. He graduated from Caney High School. Lenard attended school at Kiamichi Vo-Tech and Murray State College as well. Lenard worked in construction and was an architect. Lenard proudly served his country in the United States Army and National Guard. He married Janis Kay (Walton) on October 14th, 1972 at Atoka, Oklahoma. They have treasured the 52 years of marriage spent together before his passing. Lenard enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing dominoes, and playing with his grandkids.
Lenard is survived by his wife, Janis Kay (Walton)  Allen of the home in Atoka, OK; son, Dobbin Allen and wife Morgan of Atoka, OK; special niece, Betty Allen of Caney, OK; grandkids, Dylan Allen and wife Kendra of Atoka, OK, McKenzie Allen and husband Jake of Armstrong, OK, Jordan Pritchett of Ada, OK, Emma Allen of Atoka, OK; great grandkids, Kinsley Loftin of Armstrong, OK, Avery Allen of Atoka, OK, Harper Allen of Armstrong, OK, Kash Allen of Armstrong, OK; sisters, Judy (Allen) Merritt and husband Thomas of Atoka, OK, Bunnie (Allen) Tomlison and husband James of Asher, OK; sister in law, June (Walton) Littleton and husband Gary of Atoka, OK; brother in law, Johnny Walton and wife Sharon of Atoka, OK, Jimmy Walton and wife Donna of Atoka, OK; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Lenard is preceded in death by his parents, Lenard Leon and Beulah (Turner) Allen; brothers, Jerry Allen, Thomas Allen; parents in law, Lonnie Walton and Lillian (Mays) Walton; sister in law, Jerry Ann (Walton) Allen; niece, Lisa Ann Allen.
