OBITUARY NAME: Lennie Mae Williams age 90, a longtime Atoka area resident. BORN: She was born on August 16, 1919, to M. E. and Nellie (Droke) Cecil at Hardwood, OK. PASSED AWAY: Lennie passed away on January 6, 2010 at Atoka, OK. AGE 90 YEARS 4 MONTHS AND 21 DAYS EDUCATION: She graduated from Olney High School as Salutatorian in 1940. OCCUPATION: Lennie was a lifelong homemaker. MARRIED: She married Willard Williams on August 26, 1940. They were married for 60 years. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES, AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Lennie was a longtime member of the Wapanucka First Baptist Church and the Wilson Baptist Church. She was a great cook, and a loving daughter, wife, mother, aunt, and grandma. Lennie will remembered for the great coconut cream pies she took to the Wilson Community Center's bean suppers.
