Lenora Mae (Crites) Ridgway, age 82, a longtime Caney, OK resident was born on Saturday, December 5, 1936, to Walter "Pete" and Ollie Mae (Workman) Crites, at Caney, OK. Lenora passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 in Caney OK. She attended Caney School. Lenora was a seamstress in Atoka, Coalgate, Ethan Allen and also work ed in the Caney lunch room. She married M.C. Ridgway on November 17, 1953. They had 64 wonderful years together before his passing on March 21, 2018. Lenora was a member of Voca Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, Easter egg hunting, sewing and she loved her grandbabies.
Lenora is survived by her sons, Paul Ridgway and wife Christa of Caney, OK, Chuck Ridgway of Bokchito, OK, Keith Ridgway and wife Rita of Caney, OK; grandsons, Brent Ridgway of Durant, OK, Scott Ridgway and wife Gayla of Caney, OK, Brian Ridgway and wife Janna of Atoka, OK, Casey Ridgway and wife Tiffany of Bokchito, OK, Kevin Ridgway and wife Lacey of Bokchito, OK; granddaughter, Tanya Willingham and husband Jim of Caney, OK; brother, Dewayne Crites of Oklahoma City, OK; 14 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lenora is preceded in death by her parents, Walter "Pete" and Ollie Mae (Workman) Crites; husband, M.C Ridgway; brothers, Cephas Crites, Tincy Crites, Leon Crites, Robbie Crites; sister, Bessie Prentice; infant twins, Margie and Virgil Lee.
