Obituary

Leo Smith, age 96, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident was born on Wednesday, October 25, 1922, to Homer and Ola (Haney) Smith at Caney, OK. Leo passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Durant, OK. He attended Tushka School.
Leo was a saw mill owner and operator. He married Louise Mae Smithart on October 15, 1945.  Leo enjoyed wood crafting, trotlining, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Leo is survived by his son, Wendel Smith of Tushka, OK; grandaughters, Deanna Conn and spouse Henry of Tushka, OK, Becky Spellmann of Tushka, OK, Glenda Page and spouse Justin of Bently, OK; grandson, Terry Kelley and spouse Brandy of Tushka, OK; 13 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; brother, Billy Smith and spouse Joann of Mead, OK; sister, Shirley Carter and spouse Marshall of Denison, TX; brother, Donnie Smith and spouse Lee of Caney, OK; son in law, Lynn Kelley of Tushka, OK; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

Leo is preceded in death by his parents,  Homer and Ola (Haney) Smith; wife, Louise Mae Smith; daughter, Linda Kelley; brothers, Floyd Smith, Harold Smith, Marlin Smith; sisters, Joyce Hulme, Dorothy Damron, Elvie Fitzpatrick, Bonnie Bell Smith; daugher in law, Joy Smith.
